Forte Village offers a wide range of sports activities far beyond the usual golf, football, and tennis. We offer everything from watersports to cycling to indoor fitness activities such as Zumba, Aquagym and Total Body Workout classes.
Zumba is a popular fitness workout that has taken the world by storm. It combines Afro-Caribbean dance movements and music with traditional cardio routines. You can join our Zumba classes every morning in the sports area from the 23rd June to 5th September. If you love water fitness, don’t miss our Zumba pool party!
Our Total Body Workout classes are held daily at 5:30pm during July and August. These intensive workout routines are designed to get your entire body toned and fit, from the shoulders, arms, back, buttocks, legs and core muscles.
If water fitness is your passion, join us for our Aquagym lessons. We offer multiple sessions daily during July and August in the Oasis pool.

Forte Village offers a wide variety of amazing water sports and rentals at our boat house, from catamarans, pedalos, canoes, dinghies, jetskis, and windsurf boards – whatever your pleasure, we’ll have something for you.
Forte Village is situated in an ideal location for sailing and windsurfing with perfect winds that attract enthusiasts from across the world. Our rock-free seabed and crystal clear waters also provide an excellent location for waterskiing and jetskiing, as well as scuba diving. Dinghies and a wide variety of inflatables are also available for our younger guests or those who just want to relax on the water.
Forte Village Diving
Located on the southern coast of Sardinia, Forte Village is an ideal location for divers, featuring a diverse array of sealife including coral, octopus, sponges and anemones and a vast number of beautiful fish – you may even find the occasional shipwreck!

If you’re new to diving, you can also take beginner and advanced diving courses and achieve your PADI license at our Forte Village diving school.

Bikes are conveniently available for hire from reception, allowing you to wind your way through the groves of pine and luscious gardens. Forte Village Basketball
Basketball enthusiasts will love their stay at Forte Village, where they can hone their skills day and night. Challenge your friends and how off your skills on Forte Village’s new regulation court found at the Leisureland centre. Children ages 6-16 can also learn the basics or improve their skills with Forte Village’s CSKA Basketball Academy. Coached by Ettore Messina, a top European trainer, as well as other CSKA coaches, the Basketball Academy is the perfect place for young basketball fans to learn the secrets of the sport.
Forte Village Triathlon
Forte Village is the perfect destination for triathlon lovers, who can run, bike and swim amongst the breathtaking views of Sardinian seas, beaches and luscious greenery. Here athletes can not only participate in triathlon events but can train with world-class coaches and personal trainers throughout the season. These coaches can provide training and support for triathlon athletes at all levels, making this an ideal – and beautiful – location to immerse yourself in this popular sport.
Numerous professional athletes have cited Forte Village as their place of choice to train for triathlons due to the ideal weather and gorgeous scenery. Serious athletes are further attracted by the partnership formed between Forte Village Sports Academy and Challenge Family, which has generated a supportive team of coaches that will help you reach your potential.
Beyond the stunning views of the Mediterranean, Forte Village also offers a 25 meter salt water lane pool which replicates the conditions of the open water. This provides an ideal place to train for the swimming portion of triathlons.

The Is Molas Golf Club is proud to have hosted the European Volvo Masters as well as four Italian Opens, and is recognised as one of the most high-tech and beautiful courses in Southern Europe. While the driving range and putting areas are located directly within the Forte Village Resort, Is Molas Golf Club is a short drive from Forte Village. Transportation to and from the golf club is available on request. All necessary equipment, from clubs to golf carts, is available at the club.
Forte Village is a dream for tennis lovers, boasting twelve flood-lit tennis courts, ten of which are clay, one natural grass, and one synthetic grass. Forte Village, world-renowned for its exquisite location and world-class sports facilities, has hosted many of the top tennis tournaments such as the prestigious Future Series, which is part of the ITF circuit. The 2014 season featured 41 tournaments for men and women, each offering a prize of $10,000.
If you want to improve your game, join the Forte Village Tennis Academy where you can learn from world champions and tennis greats such as Pat Cash, Paul Haarhuis, Karel Novacek, Jonas Björkman, Claudio Mezzadri, and Charlie Steeb. The head coach himself is Rocco Loccisano, a former top player and once coach to Wimbledon champion Pat Cash. The Tennis Academy runs from April to October.
Join The Forte Village Tennis Club
Forte Village Tennis Club also offers one-to-one and group tennis courses for players of all skill levels and ages. To enable you to maximise your time at the club, we also offer superior rackets for hire as well as a stringing service and a specialist Babolat and Lotto shop.
As of 2014, Forte Village now also offers paddle tennis, a hot new sport that is both fun to learn and great for the entire family. A combination of tennis, squash, and racquetball, this new sport provides a fun way to get in shape. If you’d like to learn paddle tennis or want to improve your game, Forte Village has a coach who will help you train for this great sport.
If you’re a football fan – whatever your age – you’ll love the facilities offered at Forte Village. Children ages 4-14 can join the Chelsea Football Club’s own Soccer School, taught by coaches for the London team. Both boys and girls will love the intensive training sessions that these world-class coaches offer.
Guests of all ages can play on Forte Village’s own football pitches – the same pitches used by Inter Milan, Roma, and the German and English national squads. The grounds feature one standard-sized pitch as well as three five-a-side pitches, which can be combined to form an eight-a-side pitch.
Widely recognised as one of the best spas in the world, Forte Village Spa at the Thalasso del Forte is part of the world-class Leading Spas of the World group. Founded in 1970 by Charles Forte, Forte Village Resort is a 55 hectare hotel and resort complex located on the island of Sardinia, Italy. Forte Village features seven hotels with 771 guest rooms between them, as well as extensive entertainment facilities. Forte Village also offers a dedicated Children’s Restaurant, featuring decor and cuisine catered specifically to children. Please note that at the Children’s Restaurant, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Finally, for the littlest ones, there is a nursery with fully-trained staff available on-site (subject to surcharge), and babysitting is also available on request (subject to surcharge).
